This Privacy Policy explains how the Otlub app (Android package net.ariya_tech.otlub_net, published on Google Play) and the Otlub website at otlub.net collect, use and share your personal data.
Otlub is developed and operated by Ariya Tech (AriyaTech), İnönü Mah. 2. Çimen Sk. No: 4 Daire: 1, Küçükçekmece, İstanbul, Türkiye. Ariya Tech is the developer named on the Otlub Google Play listing and is responsible for your personal data. In this policy, "Otlub", "we", "us" and "our" mean Ariya Tech acting through the Otlub service.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: your first and last name, email address, mobile number and password (stored only as a one-way hash). If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account ID, name, email address and profile photo.
- Delivery addresses: the addresses you save, including label, address line, building, floor, delivery notes and the map location (latitude and longitude) you pick.
- Location: with your permission, your device's precise location, used to set your delivery address and to show stores that deliver to you. We also read the approximate country of your network connection to pre-select your delivery country. The customer app does not track your location in the background.
- Orders and payments: the stores you order from, the items, prices, delivery fees, promo codes, payment method and order status. Online payments are processed by PayPal; we never see or store your full card number, only a transaction reference and the payment status.
- Content you provide: ratings and reviews, favourites, support tickets, and the messages and photos you send to stores or to our support team.
- Device and technical data: a push-notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging), your language and theme preferences, device and browser type, IP address and server logs.
- Drivers: if you deliver with Otlub, we also collect your vehicle type and plate number and, while you are on duty, your location, which is shared with the store and the customer of the order you are delivering.
2. How we use your data
- To create and manage your account and sign you in.
- To show you stores and products available at your delivery address.
- To place, prepare, deliver and track your orders, and to process payments and refunds.
- To send you order updates and service notifications, including push notifications you can turn off in Settings.
- To answer your support requests and messages.
- To keep Otlub safe: preventing fraud and abuse, and securing accounts.
- To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.
3. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising. We share it only as needed to run the service:
- Stores: the store you order from receives your name, mobile number, delivery address and order details so it can prepare and deliver your order.
- Drivers: the driver assigned to your order receives your name, mobile number and delivery address and location.
- Service providers that process data on our behalf: Google (Google Sign-In and Google Maps), Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications), PayPal (online payments) and our hosting provider.
- Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of our users and of Ariya Tech.
4. App permissions
- Location: to find your delivery address and nearby stores. Otlub works without it; you can type your address instead.
- Notifications: to tell you about your order status. Optional.
- Photos / camera: only when you choose to attach a picture to a message or support ticket.
5. Cookies and local storage
Otlub stores a sign-in token, your language, theme, cart and delivery-area choices in cookies and in your device's local storage so the app works between visits. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep your account data while your account is active. When you delete your account we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except order and payment records we must keep for legal, tax or fraud-prevention purposes, which are kept only as long as the law requires.
7. Deleting your account and your rights
You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Delete account (https://otlub.net/delete-account), or by emailing us from the address on your account. You also have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Contact us using the details below and we will reply within 30 days.
8. Security
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS, passwords are stored as one-way hashes, and access to personal data is limited to the staff and providers who need it to run Otlub. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of a breach where the law requires.
9. Children
Otlub is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page and change the date above; for significant changes we will also notify you in the app.
